Key Responsibilities: Learning by Doing

The responsibilities of a Digital Consultant Intern are centered around supporting the consulting team while rapidly acquiring new skills and knowledge. Key duties often include:

  • Research and Analysis: Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to provide foundational insights for strategic recommendations. This includes analyzing data from various digital channels to understand performance and user behavior.
  • Supporting Digital Strategy Development: Assisting in the creation of comprehensive digital strategies for clients, which may encompass areas like digital marketing, analytics, creative tech, media .
  • Campaign and Project Assistance: Supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns and other digital projects. This can involve tasks such as content creation, social media scheduling, and performance tracking.
  • Client-Facing Support: Participating in client meetings, preparing presentations and reports, and assisting in the communication of findings and recommendations.
  • Learning and Development: Proactively staying updated on the latest digital trends, tools, and best practices. This includes undertaking training and certifications to build expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed, a Digital Consultant Intern needs a combination of technical (hard) and interpersonal (soft) skills:

  • Digital Marketing Fundamentals: A basic understanding of core concepts such as content marketing, social media marketing, and email marketing, SEO (optional) 
  • Data Analysis: Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics to interpret data and extract meaningful insights is a plus

  • Proficiency with Digital Tools: Basic knowledge of content management systems 
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in spoken and written English (Italian and Spanish would be a plus)

While there is no single path to becoming a Digital Consultant Trainee, a typical profile includes:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field. We also consider applicants enrolled on the the 3rd year of the Bachelor's degree for part-time or full-time roles
  • Relevant Experience: Internships, volunteer work, or personal projects that demonstrate an interest and aptitude for digital marketing, social media, or technology are highly valued.
  • Certifications (A Plus): Certifications in areas like Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot can demonstrate initiative and a foundational level of expertise.
