As a seasoned digital associate you will play a key role in growing our team as you support important public health and science communications programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Web Content Management:
    • Update and maintain web content for various clients and projects using different CMS platforms, adhering to client standards and digital best practices.
    • Train clients in content management and keep documentation updated.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Collaborate with communication strategists on digital marketing efforts, that leverage digital channels (e.g., blog, email, etc.).
    • Develop content for social media and support analysis and evaluation efforts
  • Evaluation and Monitoring:
    • Regularly use analytics platforms and report out on KPIs, in collaboration with other team members.
    • Use research and analytics to develop user need statements and to inform the development and improvement of features and products.
    • Monitor and address performance issues related to UX, accessibility and SEO, and contribute strategic recommendations based on findings.
  • Digital Product Support:
    • Own product briefs, developing product plans that lay out clear goals, objectives, requirements, and evaluation metrics.
    • Ensure team meets documented product requirements throughout the development process.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and maintain digital communication products.
    • Support digital strategy and web maintenance governance plans, quality assurance and user acceptance testing and triage.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, information design, computer sciences, program administration, the social sciences, or other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time work in digital strategy, preferably in an agency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with internal teams as well as external clients and stakeholders.
  • Digital Tools: Professional knowledge of project management platforms, content management systems (such as Drupal and WordPress), analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio) and social media management platforms and auditing tools (such as Screaming Frog). Familiarity with the digital product lifecycle, and ability to create product briefs with actionable steps.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Ability to measure and report on KPIs, accessibility standards, SEO/GEO, and web management best practices.
  • Professional Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, multitasking, prioritizing, and independent working abilities, and curiosity about trends and best practices.
  • Mindset: A positive, solutions-oriented attitude, adaptable to various tasks.
