Turn meaningful stories into content that connects, inspires, and makes a difference.

At Four Oaks, there are incredible stories happening every day, stories of resilience, growth, connection, and lives being changed. We’re looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator who can help us tell those stories.

If you’re creative, love social media, have an eye for great design, and know how to turn an idea into content people actually want to stop and read, this could be the role for you.

This isn’t a position where you’ll spend your day doing just one thing. One day you might be creating a social media campaign, the next designing a brochure, updating our website, capturing a story from one of our programs, or developing communications for an upcoming event.

We’re looking for someone who can bring creativity, strong writing, design skills, and digital know-how together to strengthen the Four Oaks Enterprise brand and help people connect with our mission.

What You’ll Do

Tell stories that matter.
Find and develop compelling stories from across Four Oaks Enterprise that showcase our people, programs, communities, and impact—and turn those stories into content that connects with our audiences.

Own our social presence.
Manage day-to-day content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Create posts, monitor comments and messages, identify engagement opportunities, and help grow our digital community.

Create content people notice.
Use your writing and graphic design skills to develop everything from social media graphics and fundraising appeals to newsletters, brochures, advertisements, billboards, media releases, reports, and our Annual Report.

Keep our content moving.
Develop and maintain a content calendar that keeps communications organized, timely, consistent, and aligned across platforms.

Bring our internal communications to life.
Create and coordinate engaging communications for employees through our agency intranet and other internal communication channels.

Keep our websites fresh.
Update and maintain organizational websites so information is current, engaging, accurate, and consistent with our brand.

Protect and strengthen our brand.
Help ensure the Four Oaks Enterprise brand is represented consistently and professionally everywhere it appears, both internally and externally.

Turn data into insight.
Monitor digital performance and prepare reports highlighting campaign results, audience growth, engagement trends, and opportunities to improve our reach.

Support events and special projects.
Create invitations, signage, promotional materials, and other communications for Four Oaks Enterprise events, while assisting with special events as needed.

What We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Are a strong, creative writer who understands how to adjust messaging for different audiences and platforms.

  • Have an eye for design and experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.

  • Understand social media and what makes people stop scrolling and engage.

  • Are comfortable managing multiple social media platforms and digital communication channels.

  • Can balance creativity with organization, deadlines, and attention to detail.

  • Enjoy collaborating with different teams and turning their ideas and stories into engaging content.

  • Are comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects from idea to completion.

  • Understand that maintaining a strong brand means paying attention to the details.

  • Want your creativity and communication skills to support work that has a meaningful impact on children, families, and communities.

More Than Content. More Than a Job.

At Four Oaks, your work won’t just fill a social media feed or check a box on a communications calendar. You’ll help tell the stories behind our mission, celebrate the people doing the work, connect our organization with the community, and show the impact happening every day.

If you’re ready to bring creativity, storytelling, design, and digital communication together for a purpose, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us tell the stories that make a difference.
