Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to optimise the delivery network, forecasting, project management, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing regular performance reports. The aim is to participate in the design of an effective and efficient delivery network, and to continuously drive change and improvements to maintain a high-quality service, exceeding customer expectation.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery network design and optimisation
- Forecasting customer demand
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Conduct regular analysis of ecommerce trends and network performance
- Collaborate with the ecommerce team to implement and optimize promotional campaigns, projects, and strategies
- Work with supply chain stakeholders to optimize shipping and delivery processes
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Network design and optimisation
- Documenting network requirements/processes/specifications
- Responsible for polygon consultation and design
- Network rebalancing as and when required
- Improving customer experience by optimizing existing polygons
- Reviewing our delivery solution to identify efficiency opportunities
- Reviewing customer buying behaviour to identify trading hour opportunities
Forecasting
- Weekly, monthly, and peak demand capacity forecasting
- Weekly review of the planned driver network to ensure it is aligned to the sales forecast by store
- Weekly, monthly, and peak plan vs actual review
- Working closely with the Supply Chain team to improve forecast accuracy
- Calculate and inform buyers of specific campaign packaging requirements
Projects
- Key Sixty60 operations stakeholder in new store roll outs
- Key Sixty60 operations stakeholder in operational projects
- Key Sixty60 operations point of contact for Marketing campaign support/rollout
Risk
- Reviewing driver claims to identify handling concerns/theft
- Review risk reports to ensure all high-risk areas are removed from network
Reporting
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly network performance reviews, identifying concerns, proposing solution
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Retail Management, eCommerce or related – (essential).
- +4 years’ experience in a similar role within the ecommerce retail operations environment - (essential).
- 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce logistics and coordination – (desired).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, network design, and optimization – (essential).
- Experience with demand forecasting – (essential).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 including strong Excel skills – (essential).
- Understanding of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau – (desired).
- Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and transportation – (desired).
- Knowledge of the latest e-commerce technologies and trends, including omnichannel retail, e-commerce platforms, and marketplaces - (advantageous).
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations - (preferred).
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall - (advantageous).
