The Manager of Digital Commerce at Sherwin-Williams will be responsible for the omni-channel strategy and initiatives that drive sales of products from iconic brands like Valspar, Minwax, Krylon and Purdy across each of Lowe’s digital platforms. This includes the building, expanding, and optimizing of product categories, consumer experiences and operational processes to drive traffic, conversion, increased basket size and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager to set and champion the vision for online sales for responsible categories on lowes.com and Lowe’s digital channels.
  • Bring our consumer products and brands to life across the consumer journey by developing and executing go-to-market strategies for retailer digital properties.
  • Primary point of contact for issues pertaining to online sku presentation and brand performance on lowes.com for respective categories.
  • Responsible for driving growth in omni-fulfillment methods from build to execution on lowes.com – Buy Online, Pick-up In-Store (BOPUIS), Special Order Sales (SOS), Direct Fulfillment Centers (DFC).  
  • Manage the Retailer.com Online Merchant, Digital Category Optimization, IT & Project Management relationships  
  • Build strategic plans and lead the presentations for Online Product Category Line Reviews
  • Performs competitive intelligence, consumer research, financial analysis and business planning to identify new opportunities and bring recommendations to the Online leadership team.
  • Effective at building presentations and conveying complex concepts in compelling ways.
  • Manage all aspects of the digital shelf, ensuring quality content, data integrity, user flow and SEO to drive conversion. Oversee the execution of Ratings & Reviews sampling programs.
  • Partner with retailer teams to maximize capabilities and inform future roadmaps.
  • Build strong cross-functional business relationships across Sales, Brand, Product Marketing, Digital and Retail Partner teams to enable, analyze and improve omni-channel experiences and grow sales.
  • Identify KPIs, track performance metrics, analyze data and translate to actionable insights that inform business strategies and decisions.
  • Lead 1-3 direct reports, internal team and/or agency partner focused on digital shelf, data enrichment, content optimization/syndication.
  • Partner with sales and merchant teams to develop a promotional online planning strategy
  • Partner with digital commerce managers, finance, supply chain, IT, Sales, Channel, Brand to ensure common processes, methods, sources of data and content are leveraged to ensure efficiency and resolve impediments.
  • Lead shared Digital Commerce team initiatives  
Qualifications

Required:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or technology  
  • 4+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, merchandising or online category management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple sources of input (data, business stakeholders, client research, design) and arrive at high quality decisions

Preferred:

  • 2+ years’ experience in ecommerce
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives at large companies
  • Retailer Online Sales Experience preferred.  
  • Merchandising or Sales and P&L management experience preferred  
  • Expert knowledge in e-retailer ecommerce processes, technologies, operations, SEM and SEO.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service orientation
  • Exposure to managing employees and owning agency relationships.
