We’re looking for an experienced Digital Business Analyst to help translate strategic direction into practical, build-ready processes and requirements across a complex global Digital Marketing environment.

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting underneath how work really happens. You’ll work across business and technology teams to map current processes, identify gaps and pain points, design future-state workflows, define decision and governance logic, and turn requirements into artefacts that delivery teams can confidently build from.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead discovery across business and technical stakeholders to understand current workflows, handoffs, pain points and information gaps.
  • Design detailed future-state processes covering intake, prioritisation, routing, decision points, governance, exceptions and escalation.
  • Translate business needs into clear, build-ready requirements, including process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, decision matrices and functional specifications.
  • Help identify opportunities for workflow automation and AI-assisted processes, defining appropriate business rules, controls and human oversight.
  • Partner across Digital Marketing, Marketing Technology, analytics, regional teams and delivery partners to validate requirements and solution designs.
  • Define reporting and measurement requirements to demonstrate improvements in workflow, capacity, visibility and efficiency.
  • Support implementation, adoption and continuous improvement as new ways of working are introduced.

About you

You’re an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys bringing structure to complex problems and turning ideas into practical solutions. You’re comfortable working across business and technology teams, asking the right questions, challenging assumptions and translating requirements into something that can be implemented.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in business analysis, requirements engineering and process modelling.
  • Demonstrated experience designing complex current-state and future-state workflows.
  • The ability to translate strategic direction into detailed process, data, functional and governance requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder facilitation skills across business and technology environments.
  • Experience defining decision logic, controls, exceptions and traceability within workflows.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.

Experience with Adobe Workfront, Workfront Planning, Workfront Fusion or another enterprise workflow/work-management platform would be highly regarded, as would experience across digital marketing, marketing operations, content supply chain or campaign workflows.

Exposure to workflow automation, AI-assisted processes, Agile delivery and operational reporting would also be advantageous.

What We Do

Hear now. And always As the global leader in implantable hearing solutions, at Cochlear (ASX: COH) we are committed to our mission to help people hear and be heard. Our story started more than four decades ago when Professor Graeme Clark pioneered the world's first multi-channel cochlear implant and created an entirely new treatment for hearing loss. Since our formation in 1981, we continue Professor Clark’s work to help people with moderate to profound hearing loss experience a life full of hearing. We have provided more than 650,000 implantable devices. Each recipient helps form a global community of millions, through families, friends, colleagues, teachers and more. And they’re not just connected to their own community — each shares a link with each other and to Professor Clark’s childhood desire to help people hear. We aim to give people the best lifelong hearing experience and access to innovative future technologies. We understand the privilege of connecting people to a life lived with hearing. And we listen, respond and move with the times – to continue to bring hearing within reach of all those who need it. That's how we live our mission every day. Our global workforce of more than 4,000 people shares a collective determination to give more people the opportunity to enjoy a life of hearing. Cochlear’s global headquarters are on the campus of Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia with regional headquarters in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. Through our offices in over 180 countries we help people of all ages to hear. Social Media Terms of Use http://bit.ly/2qRMEvY
