About the Opportunity

The Information Technology (IT) function is seen as an important enabler to the achievement of HammondCare’s mission. This is driven by the requirement of the organisation to meet the changing needs of people with complex health or aged care needs and our employees within a growing geographically diverse organisation and across a continuum of care.

The role of Digital Business Analyst (Salesforce) is to support within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that HammondCare gets the best value from its investment in Salesforce. This role is intended to be filled by a professional with training and experience working as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in agile delivery projects.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Engage and build relationships with business champions and process owners

  • Business process workshops, elicitation and documentation

  • User story and acceptance criteria translation and documentation

  • Business context support to the technical team

  • Technology Project documentation

  • Supporting user testing and training processes

  • Supporting to create or review training content as required

This is a maximum term contract for 12 months based at St Leonards with hybrid working opportunities.

What you will be doing

  • Actively seek to engage business champions with the continuous improvement, digitalisation or automation of their business processes.

  • Translating business needs into user story requirements with acceptance criteria for application administrators and developers

  • Communicate clearly, effectively and in a timely manner any issues or developments that impact the operations of the IT team

  • Clearly document or map business processes for non-technical users

  • Support the user testing processes by assisting with initial testing, writing of test scripts, coordinating testing activities and ensuring feedback is clearly captured for development teams

  • Assist users with the update of their training documentation

  • Assist users with application training and support whenever required, including running both 1 on 1 and group training sessions with users if needed.

  • Actively participate in team meetings and planning sessions.

  • Represent HammondCare with suppliers, partners and industry forums.

  • Participate in the Annual Development Meeting process.

  • Maintain Certification/Qualifications, continually update job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities (such as IIBA user group meetings, Salesforce Trailhead, etc), reading professional publications, maintain industry networks and engage industry professional association

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis

  • 3 years minimum working as a Business Analyst on application development projects.

  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well both within a team.

  • Engage stakeholders in elicitation workshops for requirement gathering.

  • Form requirements into user stories within a backlog and refine acceptance criteria.

  • Map current and future state business processes (using MS Visio BPMN).

  • Manage and participate in user acceptance testing.

  • Sets a high standard in all their project documentation.

  • Practical knowledge of the development lifecycle, especially including agile methodology.

  • Shows initiative in all aspects of their working life and enjoys problem solving.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to priorities tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • A willingness to learn and continue grow your skills in this role professionally.

Desirable:

  • Experience with projects within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Practical experiencing teaching and training users on applications

  • IIBA Certification - Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)

  • Practical experience in Salesforce declarative development

  • Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organisation

  • Salesforce Certification

  • Experience with the Atlassian toolset, specifically with Confluence and Jira Projects
