Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Digital Business Analyst - Logistics. This position will work directly with logistics business leaders, business users, and Digital teammates to plan, define, design, specify, test, train, implement, and support logistics related business processes, systems and integrations. A strong background in logistics business objectives and processes is preferred. Daikin Applied is on Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.2.12 running on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do: 

• Works independently and able to support a direction or strategy of the logistics group. Responsible for business requirements collection from which applications can be developed or modified. Prepares documentation and presentations, and chairs meetings
• Maintain awareness of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment. Engages and may lead the business customers on business processes and practices associated with the digital systems that implement, support or enable those processes and practices
• Often leads collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems and identifies opportunities for process improvement
• Engage and may lead in collection and analysis of possible project engagements, documenting project scope (objectives, deliverables, critical success factors, assumptions, global and regional considerations, and resource requirements), prioritization, cost/benefit, potential risks, and feasibility
• Produces and may lead the definition and review of the content for user guides, training classes, and other end-user documentation for applications and processes
• May lead the development of functional test scripts representing business processes and the verification activities that ensure that solutions meet business required
• May lead testing activities with appropriate technical and customer personnel, to ensure that customer interests are represented in all testing stages
• Forges a network of beneficial relationships with all levels, including management, within digital organizations and the customers of digital in order to establish mutual trust and provide a foundation for high level project partnership. Initiates and develops working relationships with internal groups and outside contacts with frequent interaction as a key priority

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment
• Willing and able to work in an end-user environment, assisting and supporting end users
• Demonstrated ability to lead and administer business projects
• Experience gathering, clarifying, quantifying and documenting business project requirements

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Masters Degree
• Oracle ERP experience
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment
• Strong background in logistics business objectives and processes

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300 - $117,200 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
