Serves as the primary development and technical lead for assigned applications, providing expert guidance in application design, development, support, maintenance, and optimization to achieve organizational and operational goals. Acts as the key technical resource and collaborates across teams with minimal direction to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.Collaborates with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities. Recognized as a vulnerability remediation expert, responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and resolving security vulnerabilities across applications, servers, databases, and infrastructure. Maintains expertise in cybersecurity risk management, vulnerability assessment tools, patch governance, and remediation methodologies.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years recent relevant experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experienced in leveraging BitSight security ratings and reporting to identify organizational risk exposures, establish remediation targets, drive corrective actions, and achieve measurable improvements in security posture and compliance objectives.
- Possesses extensive experience in server administration, including both Windows and Linux environments, with a strong background in infrastructure support, system performance tuning, patch management, and operational excellence. Demonstrates proven team leadership capabilities through mentoring, technical oversight, project coordination, resource planning, and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Possesses hands-on experience with KeySurvey development, administration, integration, and support, including survey design, workflow automation, data management, reporting, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform optimization. Collaborates with business stakeholders to develop and maintain enterprise survey solutions that support operational, clinical, compliance, and customer experience initiatives.

- Must be very knowledgeable in a variety of system analysis techniques and about the organization's policies, industry best practices, procedures, and business operations. Has knowledge that extends beyond the assigned application.

Pay Range is $117,436.80 to $176,155.20 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
