We are looking for a Digital Advertising Strategist - TikTok to drive strategic ad campaigns, optimize budgets, and boost client performance on TikTok Shop through innovative, data-driven solutions.
This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule (M/W/Th) based in Lehi, Utah.

Develop and manage ad strategies across TikTok Shop, optimizing campaigns and allocated media budgets for a book of business of brand accounts to maximize ROAS.

Conduct market research to craft full-funnel, tailored advertising strategies and stay updated on TikTok and e-commerce ad trends.

Oversee PPC and display campaign creation on TikTok, delegating tasks as needed.

Perform keyword research, test bidding strategies, and optimize ad copy to drive traffic, conversions, and sales velocity.

Nurture relationships with clients and partners through regular meetings to review performance, discuss strategy ideas, and negotiate ad budgets.

Collaborate with brand management teams to ensure advertising objectives align with client goals and internal expectations.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in paid search and display advertising

Proven experience managing ad campaigns on TikTok, ideally with TikTok Shop experience and proficiency in TikTok Ads Manager.

Familiarity with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising and other digital channels outside of Amazon, with Amazon experience as a plus.

Knowledge of how to leverage content effectively in paid media, especially with TikTok's unique ad formats and user engagement strategies.

Strong understanding of key TikTok tools and strategies, including Spark Ads, boosting, allow/whitelisting, Spark coding, and shoppable ads.

Demonstrated ability to drive performance through data-driven optimizations across social platforms, with a focus on engagement and conversion.

Influencer marketing experience is a plus, but not required.

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
First 30 Days
Success in the first month means building a strong understanding of each client’s brand objectives, TikTok advertising goals, and existing campaign strategies. You’ll dive into the account performance data, meet key stakeholders, and gain familiarity with the ad management tools and reporting systems used. By the end of the month, you should have a solid grasp of the ad spend, goals, and strategies for each account in your portfolio.
Next 60 Days
Within 60 days, you’ll actively manage campaigns by optimizing ad spends, adjusting targeting, and refining creative approaches based on performance insights. You’ll start to introduce recommendations for campaign improvement and test new strategies to drive client goals, including experimenting with creative formats and ad placements on TikTok. Success at this stage also includes building rapport with clients through regular updates and effective communication on campaign progress and strategy adjustments.
By 90 Days
By the 90-day mark, success means fully owning the strategy and day-to-day management of each assigned account. You’ll have a reliable process for optimizing campaigns, providing strategic recommendations, and consistently meeting or exceeding client expectations for ad performance. You should also be contributing insights and trends from your campaigns that help shape larger, cross-channel strategies for the team, positioning yourself as a go-to expert on TikTok Shop advertising within the organization.
What is the team like?
You will work with the other members of the TikTok Shop team and be supervised by the Head of Accounts - TikTok Shop. You will also be mentored by the VP of Advertising and may meet with them on occasion to discuss your performance. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
