Shift Part time Weekends included
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, snacks, and beverages in the dietary department.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
- Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of food production and service.
- Provide help to residents with mealtime needs, including feeding and drinking assistance.
- Work effectively with the food service team to ensure efficient and timely meal delivery.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service to residents and staff
- Participate in kitchen activities, such as food production and cleaning, as needed.
- Follow dietary guidelines and special requests to ensure resident satisfaction and health.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a dietary department, preferably in an assisted living or nursing home setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to help residents with mealtime needs and provide customer service
- Experience in food production and service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
