Position Details
- Position: Dietary Aide
- Employment Type: On-Call
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food service
- Prepare and serve meals and beverages according to residents' dietary needs
- Set up and clean dining areas
- Deliver meals and trays to residents as needed
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment
- Follow special diet instructions and resident meal preferences
- Work collaboratively with the dietary and nursing teams
Qualifications
- Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and dietary guidelines
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and respectful when interacting with residents
