As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in supporting our residents by helping provide nutritious meals, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and contributing to a positive experience for those we serve.

As a Dietary Aide, you will support the Dietary Services team by:

• Assisting with the preparation and portioning of cold food items, beverages, snacks, and nourishments.
• Preparing, labeling, and organizing between-meal snacks and maintaining nourishment area stock.
• Assisting with meal setup, tray preparation, delivery, and service.
• Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, trays, and other service ware in accordance with infection control and food safety standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary work environment.
• Following established food handling procedures, dietary policies, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Working collaboratively with the Dietary Services Department and other members of the Center team.
• Reporting safety concerns, hazardous conditions, and equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Completing required training and attending departmental and Center meetings as assigned.
• Treating residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members with dignity, kindness, and respect.
• Following all infection prevention, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Previous food service or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and become part of a supportive team!

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Experience with food preparation preferred.
3. Able to understand and follow directions.
4. Good interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and stretching
2. Ability to push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
