Dietary Aide experience preferred to cover meals to our health center residents.
We are searching for Full and Part time servers/dietary aides to join the Freedom Village family. We offer part time evening hours for aides to assist during our dinner meal in both independent living, skilled nursing and personal care. We also have Full Time server positions available that would work primarily the day shift in our skilled nursing and personal care departments.
We offer a scholarship fund through our resident council; in the past, our residents raised over $60,000 that was distributed to rising college freshman and business professionals looking to further their education at Freedom Village at Brandywine.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dietary Aide:
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
- Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
- Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
- Represent community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- 16 years of age
- Experience in food service work preferred
- Experience in working with senior living / Healthcare preferred
