Part Time weekdays and rotating weekends
Pay: $16-$18
ESSENTIAL:
1). Utilizing dietary production sheets, prepare and assemble by mixing and measuring all cold side dishes for patient trays within recipe compliance.
2). Using tray assembly as a template arrange cold items in an attractive and appealing manner.
3). Prepare and assemble by mixing and measuring house and supplemental nourishments. Appropriately label and deliver nourishments to the respective units.
4). Handle and transport food trucks to the respective wings. Pick up and return food truck to the kitchen after completion of meal service.
5). Arrange all dirty wares in the carrier unit for washing machine operation.
6). Maintain work area in a clean, orderly manner throughout the day following all sanitation guidelines as authorized by the DPH and Infection Control policies and standards.
7). Wash floors and assist in other kitchen duties as may be indicated by volume or flow of work.
8). Remove accumulated trash from kitchen workstations and dispose of appropriately as per department policy and procedures.
9) Some shifts may be used for dishwashing duties
PREREQUISITES:
1). Must have basic math skills and the ability to calculate numbers.
2). Must be able to read and comprehend recipes and menus.
3). Must have a basic understanding of nutrition.
4). Must have team mentality and be willing to help as needed with all kitchen duties outside of cooking
5). Prior kitchen experience in a healthcare setting a plus
