Job SummaryPerforms diagnostic radiography under indirect supervision; ensures accurate imaging, radiation safety, patient preparation, and departmental support.
Minimum Qualifications• Completion of AMA‑approved radiology program.
• MS Medical Radiation Technologist license.
• ARRT registered or registry‑eligible.
• CPR/BLS certification; valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience in hospital or outpatient imaging preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Perform radiographic exams; verify orders and patient ID.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; transport patients.
• Assist radiologists; evaluate image quality.
• Adhere to radiation and infection control.
• Train students and new staff; participate in QI.
Physical Requirements• Walk and work on varied terrain and in confined spaces.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull 75–100 lbs with or without assistance.
• Repeated transfers of patients and heavy equipment.
• Maintain stamina for prolonged standing, kneeling, twisting, and awkward postures.
• Fine‑motor control for emergency/diagnostic devices; adequate vision and hearing.
