The Opportunity

The Financial Analyst / Process Specialist is responsible for ensuring the FDO core finance processes are completed accurately and timely, working in close collaboration with the FDO & BA Networks and Finance Business Partners while seeking opportunities to optimize the processes.  

Responsibilities include:

• Be a part of 1 or more Process Enablement Teams (PET), focusing on core finance processes which may include reporting, planning, inventory analysis, etc.

• Work closely with the respective Finance Business Partners, Process Owners (POs), team members, and stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and effective end to end processes for the global FDO organization

• Ensure compliance with ICFR, FGAR, and Diagnostics guidelines

• Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues across all regions to identify, assess, and implement harmonization and simplification opportunities

• Drive digitalization of processes together with the respective Finance Business Partners, Process Owners, team members and stakeholders

• Contribute innovative ideas, challenge boundaries, and be bold in bringing our Finance organization to the next level

• Participate in and/or lead relevant FDO/BA Finance projects and initiatives

• Travel of 5-10% may be necessary

Who You Are

• University Degree in Finance or in a related field

• Professional experience of at least 3 years in Finance, preferably in global and local organizations

• Strong strategic, analytical, and problem solving skills

• Advanced skills with SAP and other financial tools, experience in digital and data analytics considered a plus 

• Solid accounting knowledge (IFRS)

• Strong stakeholder orientation and entrepreneurial approach

• You act as an empowered individual comfortable to lead from every seat in a self-aligned environment

• You are a growth-minded, curious learner that finds ways to simplify and explore new paths 

• You are outcomes driven with experience in responding and adapting well to change
