Card Portfolio Management (30%) 

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the Bank’s card issuing portfolio across retail, SME, and corporate segments.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of card products, including product design, launch, enhancement, pricing, and retirement.

  • Drive card acquisition, activation, utilization, and retention initiatives.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and implement initiatives to increase transaction volumes and fee income.

  • Recommend and implement innovative card solutions to address evolving customer needs.

Business Growth & Product Development (20%)

  • Develop annual business plans and growth strategies for the card business.

  • Identify opportunities for new card products, digital card solutions, and value-added services.

  • Drive adoption of virtual cards, contactless payments, tokenization, and other emerging payment technologies.

  • Support cross-selling opportunities across retail, SME, and corporate customer segments.

Scheme & Partner Management (20%) 

  • Manage relationships with card schemes including Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and domestic payment networks.

  • Coordinate scheme initiatives, product certifications, marketing campaigns, and compliance requirements.

  • Engage with technology partners, processors, and service providers to improve card services and customer experience.

  • Negotiate commercial arrangements and partnership agreements to optimize value for the Bank.

Operations, Risk & Compliance (10%) 

  • Oversee card issuance processes, transaction monitoring, settlement, reconciliations, and dispute management.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, card scheme rules, and internal policies.

  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Fraud teams to strengthen fraud prevention and risk controls.

  • Monitor card fraud trends and implement mitigation measures to protect customers and the Bank.

  • Ensure timely resolution of operational and customer service issues.

Customer Experience & Service Delivery (10%) 

  • Develop initiatives to improve cardholder experience and increase customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor service levels and turnaround times for card issuance and support.

  • Support customer awareness campaigns on card benefits, security, and usage.

  • Drive digital adoption through seamless integration of card products with digital channels.

Performance Management & Reporting (10% )

  • Monitor key business metrics, including card issuance, activation, transaction volumes, revenue, and profitability.

  • Prepare management reports and business performance reviews.

  • Track achievement of business targets and recommend corrective actions where required.

  • Manage budgets and optimize operational efficiency within the card business.
