The DFC Credit Coordinator I provides support and assistance to underwriting staff, gathers and furnishes industry information and performs limited underwriting tasks in support of the organization's needs. They will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely processing of customer loan applications submitted to the company.
The DFC Credit Coordinator I reports to a DFC Credit Supervisor.
Location: Tigard,OR
Schedule:
- Rotating shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Workdays: Monday through Saturday (5 days/40 hours per week)
- Required: Minimum of 2 Saturdays per month, with the possibility of additional Saturdays based on business needs.
Compensation Range: $19.25 - $28.85 with a typical starting range of $19.25 - $24/hr. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
Training:
- Hybrid schedule during training: Monday through Friday
- Preferred in-office days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Training will continue until proficiency in job duties is achieved.
- Once training is successfully completed, the position will transition to fully remote status.
What You'll Do
- Prioritize and maintain underwriting inbox for completion of POI Prechecks and Comp calls
- Perform accuracy and efficiency when completing data entry
- Compile and organize lender approval data for Credit-Underwriting, Dealer Relations, and Data Science departments
- Perform underwriting duties in an apprenticeship capacity
- Assist DFC Dealer Relations staff as needed
- Assist dealerships promptly, professionally, and consistently
- Keep customer information confidential
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of necessary forms, regulations, documents and company polices
- Other duties as assigned
