Job Title: Senior Financial .Net Developer/Architect
Job location: Little Rock, AR 72201
Job Duration: 14 Months with possibilities of an extension
Work Module : Hybrid (First 4 weeks Onsite)
Job Description:
- Overview client has a custom developed Statewide Budget Solution that provides the following plans for the Client: Annual Operational Plan, Biennial Plan and Budget Manual.
- The system is developed in .Net along with StimulSoft Reporting Software.
- This resource will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing the central infrastructure, application instances and databases that are required to maintain the Budget System.
- The scope of services will also include problem resolution, analysis and other support services at the discretion of the Applications Development Manager.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws, procurement, budget, human resources, payroll laws and processes, administrative practices and procedures, and methodologies of related business segment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Minimum of six (8) years of each item below: •
- Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts.
- Maintain complicated applications supported by Applications Development: Budget System. • Assist state employees with .Net solutions and mentors on best practices •
- Minimum of six (6) years of SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization experience
- Good knowledge of MSDTC •
- Experience with design and maintenance of TDE Encryption •
- Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL •
- Experience developing window services •
- Experience developing web services •
- Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans •
- Ability to write and review VB.Net code •
- Strong oral and written communication skills •
- Experience developing detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications •
Education
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent education.
