What you'll do:
- Design and implement security controls for our applications and infrastructure.
- Build and maintain security tools and automation to detect and respond to security threats.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of our applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Participate in incident response and remediation activities.
What you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or related fields.
- Self-motivated and deep sense of ownership.
- Extremely comfortable within the command line (CLI).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Tencent Cloud).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and cloud-native HA/DR concepts.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.).
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, SRE, and infrastructure teams.
