DevSecOps Engineer II plays a critical role in implementing application solutions in Azure cloud. You will act as a subject matter expert in Cloud and DevSecOps technologies to automate cloud deployments and enable CI/CD practices.
ResponsibilitiesImplement application solution blueprint in cloud with CI/CD
Translate architecture document to deployment artifacts
Create and Implement Kubernetes Helm Charts and Integrate Container deployment manifest files to deploy in Azure cloud environment.
Build Terraform modules, and IaC pipelines to implement services in Azure cloud.
Configure Application and Services by using automation tools such as Ansible.
Create GitHub pipelines to deploy cloud native applications
Document implementation and provide knowledge transition to other team members.
Responsible for GitHub CI/CD, SAST as per GitHub branching strategies.
Implement Application Architecture and assist in building containerized deployment.
Implement DevSecOps engineering practices and ensure standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Architecture, Security, Project team etc)
- Participate in cloud design and build discussions as they relate to application.
Work closely with Developers, DevSecOps and Cloud engineers for application implementation.
Required Work Experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in DevSecOps using cloud services.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Azure cloud deployments.
Preferred Work Experience:
- DevSecOps development and deployment using GitHub actions workflows
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any professional area with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in IT.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Preferred)
Preferred Certifications:
Azure DevOps or Developer Certification
Azure Cloud Certification
Knowledge:
Python, PowerShell, Azure CLI, AKS, ACR, GitHub Action workflows, Terraform and Ansible. Python, Java.
