The Role

Job Overview

We're looking for a highly motivated and strategically minded Associate Development Manager to join our team. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to drive projects from conception to completion. You'll be instrumental in shaping our development processes, fostering innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, with a keen eye on the future of AI-in Development/Testing practice .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Contribute to the strategic direction of our development efforts, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement, especially concerning the adoption of AI-assisted coding tools and methodologies.
  • Project Leadership: Aggressively drive and oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of projects. This includes meticulous project management from planning to deployment and maintenance.
  • DevOps & Technical Acumen: Possess a solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Be adept with various tech stacks and capable of evaluating and implementing AI-assisted coding solutions across different technologies.
  • Communication & Reporting: Serve as a highly effective communicator, articulating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and slides for various audiences, including executive reporting.
  • Team Enablement: Foster a high-performance culture, guiding and mentoring development teams, and championing best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in development workflows, quality assurance, and deployment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a lead or managerial role within software development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with various tech stacks and a keen interest in AI-in Development/Testing practice ..
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of creating impactful presentations and executive reports.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
