About this opportunity:
We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and accelerate product delivery through automation, infrastructure as code, and reliable cloud-native operations. This role blends your DevOps mindset with practical use of AI to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows, improve system reliability, and enable AI-powered capabilities within our products. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to design, implement, operate, and optimize scalable, secure, and observable cloud-native services.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for backend services and microservices (Java/Spring Boot preferred).
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools; manage configuration and automation with Ansible, Puppet, or equivalent.
- Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and runbooks for scalable, reliable deployments;
- Integrate AI capabilities into development and operations workflows-e.g., automating code generation, test orchestration, deployment validation, and intelligent agent-driven operations where appropriate.
- Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting and automated workflows;
- Collaborate security and compliance in cloud-native environments, including secrets management, access controls, and vulnerability scanning; implement best practices for data protection.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve productivity, reliability, and product quality; participate in design reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Enforce and improve TDD/BDD practices where applicable to automation and tooling components; write maintainable, well-documented automation scripts and tooling.
Required skills & experience
- Experience in DevOps with emphasis on helmfile configuration, pipeline automation and deployment for SW development.
- Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash/PowerShell, Groovy) and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of cloud concepts and services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native patterns; familiarity with databases and data stores.
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional, Agile teams.
- Advanced/Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Practical experience with AI/LLM-enabled automation or AI-powered tooling in DevOps workflows.
- Experience with security-focused DevOps (secure SDLC, SAST/DAST, secret management).
- Familiarity with multi-agent systems or building intelligent agents for task automation.
- Exposure to RESTful API design and common design patterns.
