About the Role
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Manager to lead our next generation Platform Engineering team. Your mission will be to design and deliver a cutting-edge self-service portal, enabling developers to consume infrastructure and application services with a single click. You will leverage tools like Backstage, Crossplane, and similar platforms to create a unified developer experience. You will empower our dev teams through automated CI/CD pipelines and on-demand environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Platform Engineering team, fostering innovation and learning
- Design and deliver a developer-facing self-service portal for seamless service consumption
- Architect, build, and maintain robust CI/CD processes
- Enable on-demand, scalable test and production environments
- Collaborate with development, security, and IT teams to continuously improve the developer experience
- Drive automation and standardization across our infrastructure
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience (2+ years in a similar leadership or management role)
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and Argo (Argo Workflows, Argo CD)
- Proven experience building self-service or developer platforms
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools and processes
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automated environment provisioning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
