BlueVine is seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting local development teams, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes, and maintaining robust infrastructure. This role involves working closely with local developers, as well as collaborating with international teams in Israel and the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a local team of 2 DevOps engineers.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
    • Guide team members in skill development and career progression.
  • Support for Local Development Teams:
    • Act as the primary DevOps point of contact for local development teams, understanding their requirements and challenges.
    • Collaborate closely with developers to optimize development workflows, automate build and deployment processes, and reduce time-to-market.
    • Provide hands-on support in debugging and resolving issues related to development, testing, and production environments.
    • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of development and testing environments.
  • Designing and implementing Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment pipelines for a range of projects and environments, including Serverless, Dockers, Database, Front End, iOS and Android
  • Continuously improve the process through automation and the creation of tools
  • Reduced deployment time to any of our environments 
  • Enrich our environments with telemetry to prevent failures
  • Enable rapid incident tracing through logs visibility, metrics & monitoring visibility
  • Manage the development & production environments
  • Ensure production uptime & SLA.
  • Responsible for building the team's roadmap, prioritization, and delivery.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 3+ years in DevOps management position.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Experience managing complex and massive Production workloads on a Cloud environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS Cloud services.
  • Experience in scripting (Bash / Python).
  • Experience with Monitoring and Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic etc).
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of CI/CD and tools (Jenkins, Github actions, ArgoCD etc.)
  • Experience in microservices architecture & containers orchestration tools (Kubenretes, ECS Fargate etc.)
  • IaC experience (Terraform, Helm).
  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related field - nice to have
