About the role 

We are looking for a skilled Posit Engineer to join our team. This position requires hands-on experience with Posit Connect and Workbench, cloud infrastructure, and automation scripting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure, experience in migration projects, and a knack for problem-solving. 

Skills and qualifications 

• Strong experience with Posit Connect and Posit Workbench setup and configuration. 
• In-depth knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, Networking, Image Gallery, App Gateway). 
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation. 
• Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, and ideally HashiCorp Packer for automation scripting. 
• Familiar with Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and migration from LDAP. 
• Experience in migrating databases from SQLite to PostgreSQL. 
• Solid understanding of cloud storage solutions, including Azure File Shares. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to handle challenging tasks with patience and attention to detail. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Kubernetes (K8S) for scalable setups. 
• Previous experience in large-scale migrations, particularly with Azure cloud technologies. 
• Certifications in Azure, Terraform, or relevant cloud infrastructure tools.
