Job Overview
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with solid experience in deploying and managing Java/Spring Boot web applications to join our team in Lugano.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about automation, continuous delivery, and reliable deployments.
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment lifecycle of Java/Spring Boot applications
- Oversee and manage deployments to production, ensuring stability and rollback readiness
- Monitor system and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools, proactively addressing issues before they impact users
- Support and maintain containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) for Java/Spring Boot microservices
- Collaborate closely with development teams to align deployment processes with software design and integration needs
- Investigate and troubleshoot runtime or deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining Java/Spring Boot applications in CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot development is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems and Unix shell scripting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to deployment reliability and production stability
Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
Location Requirement:- We do not offer a fully remote work policy
- Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.)
- Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
