Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets?
We are building a new Digital Assets team at Euronext, with the mission to develop our tokenisation and distributed ledger technology (DLT) capabilities, launch products for financial institutions and retail clients, and define the next generation of financial market infrastructure - bridging traditional and decentralised finance.
This is a founder-style mandate inside an established, regulated institution: the mission, the ambiguity and the pace of a zero-to-one build, backed by the credibility and scale of Europe's leading exchange group.
By joining now, you will be part of the core team - directly involved in shaping the strategic direction and playing a decisive role in defining and building the foundations of the project.
We are looking for a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team and help power a regulated, zero-downtime platform for tokenised financial instruments. You will play a key role in ensuring reliability, security and operational excellence for a live 24/7 service at the heart of digital asset markets.
The position will be based in Paris, Porto, Milan or Rome, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the CTO Digital Assets.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and enabling zero-downtime deployments for a regulated tokenisation platform.
- Designing and implementing observability (solutions, including metrics, logs, traces and alerting, and defining service level objectives (SLOs) to ensure platform reliability.
- Establishing and running the on-call rotation; authoring and maintaining runbooks.
- Hardening the security posture of the infrastructure in collaboration with the security lead.
- Maintaining platform stability and availability through periods of rapid change.
- Using AI-assisted tools for infrastructure-as-code and pipeline authoring, with disciplined human review before deployment.
- Applying AI for anomaly detection, alert triage and incident summarisation and post mortem drafting.
- Deploying, monitoring and operating in-product AI/ML services (including rollback).
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform), containers/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record in 24/7 observability and incident-response experience; SLO/error-budget practice.
- Experience building secure, auditable infrastructure for regulated workloads.
- Calm under pressure, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to produce clear, actionable runbooks.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices, including AIOps, incident summarisation and monitoring of AI/ML services.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, with at least three years of relevant experience.
