The Production Engineering team is responsible for building and operating the cloud platform for Venafi Control Plane. The Venafi Control Plane for Machine Identities is utilized by some of the world’s largest organizations to protect and manage TLS machine identities, SSH machine identities, and Code signing identities.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the Cloud Infrastructure platform for Venafi as a Service.
- Create the foundation for a fast and secure CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with teams across the entire organization.
- Work hybrid schedule from Salt Lake City, Utah or Santa Clara, CA office.

Qualifications- 1-3 years of relevant work experience as a DevOps/ Platform Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Experience in building infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
- Proficiency with Git and Git workflows.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of shell scripting and programming languages such as Python and Go.
- Experience in 24/7 production environments.
- Basic skills in system and network troubleshooting.

The salary range for this position is $123,000 – $154,000/year, plus discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance and equity. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
