WHO WE NEED :
We're currently looking for a DevOps Manager with 5+ years of experience to join our high-performing DevOps Team and provide our customers with quality service. If you're a fit, the following things should sound like you:

  • 3+ years of experience in managing teams, growing individuals, and retaining talent
  • 5+ years of experience working in a DevOps team
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience managing cloud-based infrastructure at scale.
    • Databases
    • Application hosting
    • Networks
    • Messaging
  • Experience working in Azure DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience working on Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with Powershell, javascript, .net, or any other language is nice to have
  • Experience working in multiple platforms is nice to have
    • Web
    • Mobile (iOS/Android)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts in a cloud-based environment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO :

  • Team Leadership : Provide leadership and direction to the DevOps team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and communicate the DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives, including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices.
  • Process Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices for software development, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Infrastructure Management : Oversee the management of infrastructure, including cloud services and cloud storage, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Tooling Selection and Management : Evaluate, select, and manage tools and technologies for automation, monitoring, and deployment, such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools, and monitoring solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication : Foster collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other teams to streamline the software delivery process and resolve conflicts.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks related to software releases, infrastructure changes, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation : Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to support DevOps initiatives and projects.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization, including improving code quality, reducing deployment times, and enhancing infrastructure efficiency.
  • Incident Response and Recovery : Maintain incident response plans and coordinate responses to system outages, performance issues, and security incidents.
  • Training and Development : Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Documentation : Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures related to DevOps practices, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for team members
  • Continuous Learning : Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in DevOps, cloud computing, automation, and related fields, and assess their potential impact on the organization.
