The team is responsible for delivering tools, features, and capabilities to support our Service Delivery Team. Falcon Complete is a Global 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team composed of Analysts and Security Advisors focused on protecting our customers against the most advanced threats in the world. <br>Working closely with this fast paced team you'll be expected to find balance between architectural integrity and tactical delivery, steering a path towards sustainable and scalable systems while delivering continuous improvements.<br>You'll be working in a friendly and highly collaborative team with a real and immediate mission focus, with the ability to see the impact your work has on the safety and security of businesses, governments and NGOs around the world.<br>This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.<br><b>What You'll Do:</b><br><ul><li>Lead and manage the DevOps team, setting objectives and reviewing performance to ensure high productivity and quality output.</li><li>Be a champion of high code quality, detailed architectural designs, and robust systems.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.</li><li>Develop and implement DevOps strategies, policies, and best practices.</li><li>Partner with stakeholders and team members to develop, coordinate, and execute on an engineering roadmap that aligns with business objectives and priorities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices.</li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities.</li><li>Lead by example with a customer and product focus.</li><li>Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the team is constantly advancing through effective leadership, coaching, motivation, and day-to-day management.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><br><b>What You'll Need:</b><br><ul><li>Experience running an engineering team with a track record of successfully hiring and developing engineering talent and creating effective & healthy work environments.</li><li>Experience & familiarity working with both front-end/UI & back-end development pipelines.</li><li>Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including UX, engineering, program & product management and support teams.</li><li>Ability and desire to be hands on as well as lead the team and collaborating cross functionally.</li><li>Ability to communicate and articulate clearly at all levels from engineers to executive staff.</li></ul><ul><li>The ability to mentor and guide team members in the latest DevOps practices and technologies.</li><li>Excellent documentation skills, and the ability to guide employees with documentation standards.</li><li>Background or experience working in a CI/CD pipeline environment.</li><li>Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI etc.</li><li>Experience with Jira Service Desk.</li><li>Broad grounding in all aspects of distributed systems & cloud infrastructure development.</li><li>Solid design and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, pragmatism, quality, security, and performance.</li><li>Experience working in and with remote & distributed environments.</li><li>Experience with Problem, Change and Incident Management framework and principles.</li><li>US Citizenship is required</li></ul><br><b>Bonus Points:</b><br><ul><li>Cybersecurity industry experience is strongly preferred.</li></ul><br>#LI-RC2<br>#LI-Remote<br>This role may require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass alcohol and/or drug test(s) during the course of employment.This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.<br><b>Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:</b><br><ul><li>Remote-first culture</li><li>Market leader in compensation and equity awards</li><li>Competitive vacation and flexible working arrangements</li><li>Comprehensive and inclusive health benefits</li><li>Physical and mental wellness programs</li><li>Paid parental leave, including adoption</li><li>A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunities</li><li>Offices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaboration</li></ul><br>We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $185,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
