Job Description:
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Lead with strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and modern DevOps practices. This role involves designing and implementing scalable deployment pipelines, driving automation, and ensuring operational excellence across diverse technology stacks. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers while contributing to the organization’s DevOps strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.
- Design secure, scalable environments and optimize resource utilization.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Automation & CI/CD
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Automate deployments and configuration management.
- Integrate automated testing and security checks into pipelines.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Develop containerized applications using Docker.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
- Utilize Helm Charts and GitOps practices for Kubernetes deployments.
Monitoring & Security
- Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Enforce security best practices across cloud and application infrastructure.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Good scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA.
