The Institutional Data Platform team is responsible for the Olympus platform to streamline data sources across Service, Markets, Banking and Client enabling industry leading analytics, client, regulatory, surveillance supervisory risk and finance reporting and data science solutions along with genesis platform.
The DevOps Lead Engineer (Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst - c13) will play a crucial role in both leading application systems analysis and programming activities, as well as overseeing the deployment and management of OpenShift containerized infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.

Resolve high-impact problems through detailed evaluation of complex business and system processes.

Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to architectural standards.

Develop and maintain Ansible automation for deploying and managing OpenShift infrastructure and applications.
-
Engineer, deploy, manage, and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure including compute, storage, network, logging, and monitoring components.

Collaborate closely with application teams to ensure reliability, functionality, and performance of container orchestration platforms.

Engage in the lifecycle of containerized applications from design and development to operation and decommissioning.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:

6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development, systems analysis, or related role.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.

Strong knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, Maven, and Kubernetes.

Operational experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Ansible, Terraform).

Ability to analyze and debug issues across networking, infrastructure, application, and database layers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
