Job Purpose
You will help support our Ops/IT team by deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations to meet customer needs. You will work closely with the development team to build and maintain infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deploys and supports cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure
- Responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
- Collaborates with crossfunctional teams including Networking, Security, DevOps, and Application Development..
- Assist in building and maintaining development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitors, manages, and optimizes Azure cloud resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, network, and application performance.
- Supports automation of operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python).
- Assists with incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting for cloud workloads.
- Build and operate comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Write deployment, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and other scripts as needed in addition to the existing DevOps tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Strong understanding of Azure concepts: compute, storage, networking, IAM, policies, resource groups.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Powershell.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server and in writing SQL Queries, and procedures.
- Experience in using version control tools like Azure DevRepo,
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud security architecture, identity and access management, and network security principles.
- Ability to work in collaborative, crossfunctional teams.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- 3+ years relevant work experience
Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Compensation & Benefits
Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits.and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. While the anticipated salary range for this position is between $90,00-$120,000/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Exceptional candidates may exceed the range if education and experience warrant.
Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company’s customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered all applicable laws.
