The Infrastructure Team builds and maintains the core foundation that powers all Protex systems, ensuring scalable data infrastructure, robust edge-to-cloud connectivity, and high-performance backend services. We support edge deployments for real-time computer vision applications and deliver resilient systems to enable proactive workplace safety at global scale.

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive infrastructure efforts across cloud and edge environments. You’ll implement CI/CD pipelines, design and implement scalable observability systems, and drive system reliability across globally distributed environments. You'll help shape a seamless developer experience, maintain environment parity (Dev, Stage, Prod), and ensure secure, high-quality data across all regions.

You’ll work closely with engineering teams to support well-architected, cost-effective, and secure infrastructure.

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles

• Proven experience in SRE with a focus on uptime, reliability, and system health

• Expertise in monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (cloud and edge)

• Experience with Unix-based operating systems

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, ECS

• Experience with database management

• Ability to deploy infrastructure across regions while maintaining GDPR and other compliance standards

• Solid knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch)

• Good understanding of cloud security best practices (secrets management, threat prevention, vulnerability mitigation)

• Mindset:

  • Owning their own work including planning, high quality delivery and cooperation with other teams.

  • Helpful towards engineering teams, willing to jump on their issues with urgency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Experience defining and delivering solutions improving DORA metrics
