About this opportunity
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks. This position combines hands-on technical skills with a strong passion for automation, requiring you to execute on the vision, and prioritize features that support operational excellence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams across development, operations, and architecture, you will help build and scale reliable, secure, and efficient systems that enable continuous integration, delivery, and release of Ericsson's software products and services.

What you will do:
- Prioritize and manage your backlog, translating requirements into actionable user stories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including CSDP DevTools, CSDP Operations, and PDU teams-to gather feedback, ensure platform adoption, and optimize performance.
- Implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Gerrit.
- Learn and update yourself on upcoming DevOps tools and technologies, staying current with industry trends and emerging solutions like ArgoCD, FluxCD, and FinOps tooling.
- Champion containerization and orchestration best practices using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to drive standardization and scalability.
- Integrate Ericsson CI/CD developer tools (e.g., SWPS common assets) and services into the DevOps ecosystem to streamline delivery and compliance.
- Implement advanced monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and similar tools to enhance system reliability.
- Identify inefficiencies and gaps in DevOps processes, proactively automating manual workflows to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Ensure CI/CD processes adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Track and report on key performance indicators such as deployment frequency, lead time, and change failure rate.
- Provide training, documentation, and support to enable new team members in adopting CI/CD practices and tools.
- Collaborate and support DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and cross-team collaboration.
- Contribute to architecture reviews and governance to ensure alignment with organizational standards and cloud-native principles.
