We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC). The ideal candidate is expected to contribute to platform stability, streamline development workflows, and take ownership of critical DevOps initiatives. You will work closely with developers, QA, and IT operations to ensure reliable software delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for provisioning and managing cloud resources (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or equivalent).
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes, ECS or equivalent.
- Implement secrets management, IAM policies, and ensure infrastructure security compliance.
- Automate routine tasks and build scripts/tools to improve developer productivity.
- Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and post-mortem analysis.
- Document processes, playbooks, and internal runbooks for reliability and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on deployment strategies and environment setup.
Key Deliverables (First 3–6 Months)
- Deliver 1–2 production-grade CI/CD pipelines with successful deployments.
- Develop and apply reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform or equivalent.
- Set up monitoring dashboards and critical alerting for core service.
- Author or update 2–3 key DevOps documentation pieces (runbooks, onboarding guides).
- Conduct one internal knowledge-sharing session or tooling demo.
- Take ownership of at least one environment, system, or pipeline.
Must-Have:
- 2–5 years of DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong knowledge of IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Experience with Linux system administration and Bash/Python scripting.
- Containerization experience (Docker) and familiarity with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tools.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or equivalent).
- Familiarity with secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, SOPS).
- Basic networking and security troubleshooting skills.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
