What you will do

• Own the deployment and operation of our Azure environments end-to-end, ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency across infrastructure and applications.
• Design, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to enable safe, repeatable releases (including infrastructure changes).
• Operate and continuously enhance observability: monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboards; proactively identify and resolve reliability risks.
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration practices (Docker/Kubernetes) and related tooling (e.g., Helm, service mesh) as used by our platform.
• Lead DevSecOps practices: vulnerability scanning, patching, secrets management, access controls, and secure configuration of cloud resources and workloads.
• Maintain networking and foundational services: VMs, gateways, file services, VPNs, and private networks as required.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements; document runbooks and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers to establish standards for testing, environments, and release quality (unit, integration, and system testing support).

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / DevSecOps in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
• Production experience with containerization and Kubernetes-based platforms; familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Prometheus.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or equivalent.
• Strong Linux systems knowledge (from shell scripting to systems administration).
• Experience configuring and operating infrastructure components such as VMs, gateways, VPNs, and private networks.
• Ability to write and maintain operational scripts and configuration (Bash and YAML).
• Working knowledge of Git and Agile delivery practices; comfortable operating in Jira-based workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (engineering or a related field preferred).
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical topics into actionable recommendations.
• Self-starter mindset with strong prioritization and follow-through.
• Nice to have
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g., Terraform, Bicep/ARM).
• GitOps experience (e.g., Argo CD, Flux) and/or progressive delivery patterns (canary, blue/green).
• Security framework familiarity and practical experience securing environments that handle sensitive data.
• Experience coaching engineers on operational best practices and reliability standards.
