Responsibilities:
- Creating tools to simplify and automate complex workflows.
- Managing and maintaining CI/CD environments.
- Developing and maintaining custom software solutions tailored to company challenges.
- Developing and maintaining existing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Improving the observability, performance, and reliability of existing systems.
- Collaborating on microservice architecture design and optimization, including Kubernetes and load balancer configurations.
- Ensuring infrastructure security and compliance, especially within AWS environments.
- Implementing and maintaining AWS security best practices, including IAM, VPC security, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Designing and optimizing database architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Proactively identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure.
Skills and Knowledge:
- 3+ years of experience in similar positions.
- Hands-on experience in Linux-based systems operation and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Unix and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- Proven experience with public cloud providers, especially AWS (security, scaling, and infrastructure management).
- Experience in infrastructure automation and deployment for large-scale/high-complexity services in a microservices environment.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and related microservice ecosystem tools (e.g., load balancers, service meshes).
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, or CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferred: Golang or Python, but others are welcome).
- Experience in managing databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) with a focus on performance optimization, indexing, and scalability.
- Working knowledge of technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, Consul, or Vault.
- Strong AWS security expertise, including IAM, VPC, WAF, encryption, and compliance best practices.
- Ability to design and implement secure and scalable solutions in cloud environments.

As Bitaksi, we offer our users the convenience of hailing a taxi with just one tap and track the taxi’s arrival as well as the driver’s name, score, and license plate number. Our users can share information about their trip such as the driver’s name, the taxi’s license plate number, and their live location with any person they wish.
Moreover, our users can travel with their furry friends thanks to our Pet Taxi service in 24 cities we operate. Another one of our services in the app, GetirDrive, helps our users rent car for days, hours, or even mere minutes. getirbitaksi, gone live in October 2021, provides service also from the Getir app.
