Job Description
The Dev/Ops engineer is part of the Systems Engineering organization and provides the engineering team with the tools needed to develop our perpetual flight system, including:
• Design and support of an integrated engineering management tool chain for engineering tasks from system level to code and for the whole lifecycle
• Create configure and maintain collaboration spaces and processes for the different specialties in JIRA/Confluence
• Design and create dynamic linkages between MS Project and JIRA to create a real-time IMS visibility and status
• Support and manage a SharePoint site in the data infrastructure
• Support SW development and continuous integration
• Manage and mature the tool chain as the tasking and reporting requirements evolve
• Setup and manage libraries, document sets, and workflows in and across JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, PLM Siemens (Polarion), and Microsoft (SharePoint) products
• Develop and maintain company databases
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering, Software Development or Related Field
• 3+ years of experience performing similar roles in the automotive, aerospace, or fast-paced development companies
• Expert fluency in JIRA/Confluence
• Experience as an admin for Siemens Polarion PLM
• Experience and programming capability in C++, SQL, Java, VBA, and Python
• At least 2 years’ experience in SW continuous integration (CI&CD)
• Experience and belief in process-oriented concepts and data organization
• Keen organizational and detail oriented skills
• A focus on success
Nice to have Qualifications
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile concepts
• CI experience on GitLlab CI or Jenkins
• SW configuration management processes
• Experience with MS Access, Ansys, Apache Velocity, 3DX, and TeamCenter
