About the Role
The role is to streamline software delivery by automating infrastructure, integrating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability. This role serves as a bridge between development and cloud operations, enabling faster, secure, and more efficient deployments while ensuring alignment with IT strategy.
The responsibilities also include:
Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (laC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
Monitor cloud resources for efficiency, cost optimization, and availability, making proactive adjustments as needed.
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for automating the deployment of applications and services.
Develop Docker container definitions to support the deployment of applications into container management platforms.
Implement best practices for version control, automated testing, and code quality checks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment and automation processes
Write scripts and automation workflows to streamline operational tasks and routine maintenance.
Implement configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to manage server configurations.
Develop automated solutions for scaling, monitoring, and managing cloud resources.
Set up monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
Respond to incidents by diagnosing and resolving issues promptly and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance standards.
Implement security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.
About You
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure on multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Demonstrated experience with applying DevOps practices and principles, including CI/CD, laC, automation, and orchestration.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working with cloud finops tools such as Vantage.
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Working understanding of networking, security practices, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Proven track record of working in an agile and collaborative environment, with excellent communication skills.
Having experience with developing Agentic AI would be a bonus.
