DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of the company’s DevOps / software reliability initiatives (base CI/CD pipelines, build libraries, networking and more)
• Boost engineering by building smart tools and systems that make devs faster, happier, and more effective—turning complex maintenance and support into smooth, scalable magic
• Own and operate a high-concurrency financial system where speed & quality counts - scaling challenges, and the thrill of safeguarding user data at massive scale included
• Build and operate a fast, reliable, and stable infrastructure and multiple working environments over GCP
• Work on ways to automate and improve the development and release cycles.
• Help engineers define SLAs and design their systems accordingly
• Be a crucial part of setting the technological stack and standards in the company
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer/ SRE
• 3+ years of experience setting up and working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
• At least 3 years of hands-on development experience in following languages: Python (or other scripting languages) & Bash
• Experience in managing containerized app based platforms (Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, Dockerized images or equivalent)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog, etc.)
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-a-code (Terraform / Ansible)
• Experience in modern CI/CD tools (Cloud Build / Github actions / Spinnaker), experience in monorepo setups - Advantage!
• Experience in managing a microservice mesh w/ gRPC - Advantage!
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer - Advantage!
