Cloud Support Devops Engineer with hands-on experience supporting requests for Cloud Set.
The Opportunity
Responsible for solving customer cases with might come up through Roche ticketing service and/or other communication channels
Follow through support tickets from customers within the SLA and resolve to completion
Working with customer to deep dive into the root cause analysis, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions
Leverage customer support experience to provide feedback to tech leads and development teams on continuous improvement of the cloud (AWS) services
Ability to think critically on complex customer problems that may span multiple cloud services as well as assisting in consulting with clients on the system design on AWS environments
Support cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations and change request on client cloud environments
Create, implement and assist in the development of scripts top automate everyday operations
Maintain multiple devops environments base on client requirements and assist in the system migrations and system upgrades to create and deploy new cloud environments
Adept in estimating costs for cloud services for storage and computer include GPU options, saving etc.
Who you are:
Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management information systems or equivalent work experience
A minimum of of 3-5 years of experience with devops including planning, architecting and implementing AWS environments
Well versed with Gitlab pipelines and AWS devops services
Experience with designing and deploying AWS services such as EC2, Storages and RDS
Have an appetite for constantly learning state of the art technologies, develop new technical skills and similar professional competencies to solve customer problems
Experience in AWS Storage encryption, data at rest and data in transit
Automation scripting experience with Gitlab, CI, Jenkins and scripting languages including Terraform, Ansible, Shell, Bash or Perl
Experience with CI/CD and container techniques such as Docker and Kubernetes.
