DevOps Engineer

CreatorIQ is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable development workflows. This role plays a crucial part in infrastructure automation, monitoring, and cloud security while collaborating with Software Engineers, Product support, QA, and Security teams.

As a key member of the DevOps team, the DevOps Engineer helps manage cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring high availability and compliance with security best practices.

What you’ll do:

Cloud Infrastructure & Security:
  • Support cloud environments ensuring availability, scalability, and security.

  • Provision cloud resources according to the company policies.

  • Implement cloud security best practices, including role-based access controls (IAM), encryption, and vulnerability scanning.

  • Participate in Disaster Recovery Plan testing and recovering after disaster.

  • Support DevSecOps principles.

  • Support and maintain containerized environments and orchestration tools.

CI/CD & Automation:
  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) for automated deployments.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation) to automate AWS provisioning.

  • Automate configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Packer.

  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and improve zero-downtime deployment strategies.

  • Develop scripts to automate routine processes

Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response:
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

  • Assist in incident response, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for infrastructure-related issues.

  • Optimize log aggregation and metrics collection to improve system observability.

Collaboration & Technical Support:
  • Work closely with Software Engineers to improve deployment workflows.

  • Resolve engineers’ and product support requests in a timely manner.

  • Support QA and Software Engineers in Test to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with IT Security teams to ensure secure cloud operations and infrastructure policies.

  • Support and keep up-to-date internal documentation.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering (SRE).

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services 2+ years (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, etc).

  • Experience with container orchestration 2+ years (Kubernetes, EKS).

  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation).

  • Strong Linux system administration skills

  • Knowledge of networks (ISO model, routing, load-balancing, security, etc).

  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation.

  • Intermediate or higher English level (spoken and written).

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Packer).

  • Hands-on experience with Helm

  • Familiarity with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, etc.).

  • Experience in assets security and vulnerability management (Firewalls, Nessus, Prowler, Trivy, ect.)

  • Knowledge of security standards and compliance best practices.

  • Background in log analysis and monitoring solutions (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
