Design, develop, implement and support high-quality software build systems. Improve and enhance existing systems by automating the current build, test and deployment processes for multiple development teams. Integrate automated builds and build artifacts into test environments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools. Maintain and enhance external interfaces to build systems and information. Develop build scripts and tools for builds, using most appropriate languages and technologies. Manage and maintain tools provided by Configuration Management. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work closely with the development, quality assurance and project management teams to optimize the ongoing strategies from source control through to product delivery. Manage build machines, servers, and build environments. Understand and apply security concepts and processes for build systems. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 101 Wood Ave South, 2nd Floor, Iselin, NJ 08830. Salary: $179,982 - $200,000 per year.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, or a related field, plus 7 years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer, Test Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving configuration management or software development.


In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer, Test Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving configuration management or software development.


Must also have experience in the following: 5 years professional experience utilizing Git and Atlassian tools including: JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo, FishEye-Crucible, or Nexus; 5 years of professional experience utilizing scripting technologies including Python, and Shell administration of Source Code Management tools including GIT; 5 years of professional experience performing object-oriented programming with Java or C++; 5 years of professional experience utilizing IBM MQ or DB2; 5 years of professional experience utilizing configuration management concepts, building framework design and architecture; 5 years of professional experience utilizing Linux, Unix, and Windows as well as full lifecycle support; 3 years of professional experience designing and implementing a cross-platform build framework; and 3 years of professional experience utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
