DevOps Engineer

Resend is growing rapidly and we're scaling our infrastructure to support millions of emails sent every day.

You will join a team of engineers who are passionate about building a reliable and scalable platform.

In this role you will...

• Help define the architecture to support millions of daily API requests

• Improve high availability across multiple cloud providers, primarily AWS

• Drive long-term infrastructure strategy to support our growth trajectory

• Scale databases like Postgres and Clickhouse for optimal performance

• Enhance observability by using monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana or Prometheus

• Design CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline delivery

• Refine disaster recovery plans to ensure quick and reliable recovery

You will be a great fit if you...

• Have 5+ years experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or SRE roles

• Have deep experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS and CloudFormation

• Can communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally

• Can consistently work in Americas/Europe timezone

• Have a strong collaborative mindset and love helping others

• You will be an exceptional fit if you also...

• Know about email best practices or are willing to learn more about this domain

• Are proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools (CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).

• Have experience architecting and scaling distributed systems on AWS

• Have experience with Node.js and Serverless architecture
