Overview
Cypris is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our product and its infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with a cross functional team to build and optimize our cloud resources, streamline deployments, and enable the seamless delivery of our AI-driven insights and analytics product.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Own the reliability of our products by implementing proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to address production issues.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve stability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices with an eye toward cost effective scalability.
- Help establish and standardize the developer tool chain to improve collaboration, productivity, and consistency across the engineering team.
A key candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field.
- Proven track record of owning product reliability and implementing proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
- Background with a cloud provider such as GCP or AWS is required. GCP is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, hosted or managed, strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with creation of CI/CD pipelines designed to speed deployments without losing quality.

Location Preferences:
We are only considering candidates located in the U.S. and prefer candidates based in Los Angeles, New York, or Central Florida. Remote candidates within the U.S. time zones will also be considered.

What does the interview process look like?
The process depends on the role. For all positions, we like to start with a quick intro call just to make sure we're aligned.
From there, we typically do a longer (45min) call with one of our team members that can appropriately vet your skills & "speak your language" - on the engineering side, this might mean some technical questions, while on the sales side we ask you to build a quick presentation about yourself.
Finally, we check over a few references & ideally meet in person before making an offer.
