Job Description

n this role, you will get to:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth code integration and delivery.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK stack.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment strategies and resolve environment-specific issues.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ensure backups, disaster recovery, and failover processes are in place and tested.
• Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

ur most successful candidates will have:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls).
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Nagios, or Datadog.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD/CKA).
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and tools.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Go, or Java.
• Exposure to security frameworks and practices (e.g., IAM, firewalls, encryption)
