The Bank’s Information Technology Services Department seeks a motivated DevOps Engineer with experience in cloud-based infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, and full-stack development. The role involves building new DevOps solutions and enhancing existing ones. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to contribute to the creation and maintenance of innovative, reusable enterprise technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design complex full-stack cloud technology solutions in collaboration with application development teams, aligned with the vision established by technology and product leaders.
- Take ownership of existing technology solutions, contributing and recommending improvements to increase efficiency, resiliency, and reduce manual effort
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) under the guidance of senior engineer/architect. IaC tools include CDK, Terraform, PowerShell, bash and Python.
- Drive the implementation of additional tools and processes that maintain an automation-first approach to DevSecOps.
- Collaborate with teams to understand their current infrastructure state and assist them in achieving the next step forward.
- Act as a subject matter expert for DevOps; act as an escalation point for application development teams.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience; technical certification preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, encompassing:
- Knowledge of CDK, Ansible, Terraform, Python, shell scripting, or other automation tools.
- Development experience including CI/CD pipeline development, automated builds, testing, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience operating in GitLab, GitHub or equivalent Git based product
- Developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and serverless deployments
- Applying Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices in planning and organizing work
- Monitoring platform/application using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, CloudWatch is preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required
- US Citizenship required

Salary: $74,900-95,500
